Sam Palazzolo is the Managing Director at Tip of the Spear Ventures, based in Las Vegas, NV USA. Tip of the Spear Ventures is a business advisory services and venture capital firm. Our advisory services goal is to be the ''firm of choice'' for the Inc 500 market (as well as for those leaders looking to adopt the entrepreneurial spirit to achieve their goals). Our venture capital goals are to support entrepreneurs after they exhaust initial capital supplies by providing early-stage seed funding.
Sam has more than a decade of experience with major corporations including General Motors, AON, and Toyota. He has participated in five startups and coached/consulted with leaders from the Inc 500|5000. Sam is recognized as a Professionally Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and a Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coach (SCC).
Prior to joining Tip of the Spear, Sam was recognized as a ''High Potential'' leader at Toyota, participating in Toyota's legendary Quality Management and Financial Management development programs. As President & CEO of Pathos Leadership Group, Sam led change consulting and executive coaching initiatives in a variety of industries: agriculture, mining, oil & gas, food & kindred products, beverages, mills, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, automotive, transportation, utilities, finance & insurance, real estate, services, and government. His early career included manufacturing, finance/accounting, sales/marketing, and strategic planning positions.
Education
Sam graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in Business Economics & Public Policy and received his MBA from Vanderbilt University. He completed an Executive Coaching Certification from the University of Texas, and acts as an Associate Professor in Leadership at Ashford University.
