AgreenRoad - Methane Gas from Methane Hydrate Archeological History From 50 Million Years Ago

www.agreenroadproject.org Methane gas is trapped in huge methane hydrate ice deposits under the oceans. As long as the oceans stay cold and the ice sheets stay stable, the methane gas stays below the oceans, as methane hyrate ice sheets. But now, the oceans are warming and the methane hydrate ice sheets are dissolving, releasing massive amounts of methane gas to the ocean and the air.

This happened 50 million years ago. That is when the temperature of the Earth was 7 degrees higher than now, and it rose another 7 or 8 degrees in just a few hundred years.. This researcher believes this was entirely due to methane gas warming the atmosphere, due to the methane hydrate melting underneath the oceans. Please like this video and subscribe to this channel.
