Developed and patented by civil engineer Jon Khachaturian, the Versatruss heavy lift system is a balanced, symmetrical, underside lift system which uses multiple lift points to distribute the load evenly along the centerline of two barges. In doing so, it achieves not only a greater redundancy than conventional lift systems, but also maintains a remarkably shallow draft during lifting.
By applying proven technology, (cargo barges, booms, winches, load spreaders, and controls) the Versatruss heavy lift system is capable of installing and removing large integrated facilities in both deep and shallow water, and in remote locations.
