世界文化遺産登録を決める国連教育科学文化機関（ユネスコ）世界遺産専門委員会の審議が21日からカンボジアの首都・プノンペンで始まり、日本国民の誰もが待ち望んでいる富士山の世界遺産登録。
伊勢神宮・式年遷宮「お白石持ち行事」を奉献する伊勢の神領民らが世俗の汚れを落とし清らかな気持ちで行事に臨もうと「浜参宮」に訪れにぎわう同神社。
夏至だった21日は、1日中雨が降り続いたがこの日の朝4時前に上がった。東の空が赤く染まり出すと幻想的な景色に誰もが心を奪われた。日の出時刻の4時40分を過ぎた4時44分、大しめ縄で結ばれた夫婦岩の間に太陽が上り光が届くと富士山の美しいシルエットが現れた。
朝日と富士山の撮影に成功した向井正明さんは「昨日の夏至祭は雨でも行ってみようと思ってみそぎを撮影。今日も半分あきらめていたが、『やらない後悔よりやった後悔』と思い車を走らせた。伊勢志摩からの富士山を追い続け5年。今年富士山が世界遺産登録されようとしているこのタイミングで伊勢からの富士山が撮れたのは天照大神（アマテラスオオミカミ）様のご利益でしょうか？とてもラッキーだった。式年遷宮を迎える伊勢神宮と世界遺産登録される富士山がつながった瞬間。まさに吉兆」と話す。

そろそろ「梅」の季節かなぁ、なんて思って、鶴岡八幡宮にでも出かけてくるか…なんて考えていたんですね。
で、漠然と地図を見ていたら、鶴岡八幡宮と富士山は、ほとんど同緯度である事に気付いた。
更に地図を追っていたら、出雲大社ともほぼ同じだった。
これは偶然なのだろうか。

1964年3月28日に
アラスカ州で発生した
地震。
聖金曜日に発生したことから、
聖金曜日地震（The Good Friday Earthquake）とも呼ばれている。
震源はアラスカ州南西部の
プリンス・ウィリアム湾。
太平洋プレートと
北アメリカプレートの境（
アリューシャン海溝付近）における
海溝型地震である。観測された表面波
マグニチュードはMs8.4〜8.6とされていたが、その後、
金森博雄の推定により
モーメントマグニチュード（Mw）で9.2であることが判明し
[2]、
アメリカ合衆国地震観測史上最大規模となった
[3]。この地震で131人が亡くなった。同年、日本で発生した
新潟地震と並び、
液状化現象による被害が大きく、これ以降、
土質力学の分野で液状化現象が活発に研究されるようになった。
この地震から1年近く経過した
1965年2月4日に、同じ海溝付近にある
アリューシャン諸島で
Mw 8.7の地震が発生している。

キリマンジャロ（
スワヒリ語:
Kilimanjaro） は
タンザニア北東部にある
山で、
標高5,895m。
アフリカ大陸の最高峰。山域が
キリマンジャロ国立公園に指定されている。山脈に属さない独立峰としては世界一の高さを誇る。
東南約50km、南北30kmに広がった
成層火山である。西から
シラ峰(Shira、3962m)、
キボ峰(Kibo、5895m) 、
マウエンジ峰(Mawenzi、5149m）の3つから成る。南東部には巨大な
カルデラがある。中央にあるキボ峰が最高峰で、頂上は
スワヒリ語で「
自由」を意味するウフル(Uhuru)と呼ばれている。これは
1961年のタンザニア独立を記念して命名されたもので、ここにはタンザニア初代大統領
ジュリウス・ニエレレの言葉が刻まれたレリーフがある。キボ峰からガスが出ていることがあり、2003年の調査で
マグマは頂上から400mの深さにあると推定された。約100万年前に噴火が始まり、約36万年前に大規模な噴火が終息したと推定される。最近の火山活動は200年前に記録されている。
赤道付近にもかかわらず、キボ峰の頭頂部には、
20世紀後期まで
レブマン氷河などの巨大な
氷河が存在していた。近年は気候変動（降水量の減少など）にともなって規模が極端に縮小しているが、とはいえ、現在でも年間を通して氷雪を見ることができる。しかし、19世紀末に比べて2000年には氷河は12％にまで縮小し
[2]、
1970年代に比べて
2002年には氷河は半分以下になってしまい
[3]、
国連環境計画によれば「2020年までに完全に消滅する可能性がある」（2008年6月）とされている
[4]。この要因については、
地球温暖化の影響によるものだという説と、降雪量の減少とともに常に山頂近くの気温が氷点下となっているため、山頂部の氷が直接
昇華してしまい、消えていくといった地域的な要因によるものだという説があり、原因がはっきりと確定しているわけではない
[5]。キリマンジャロの山頂付近の気温はこの100年で0.5℃しか上昇しておらず、このことが氷河減少が温暖化が原因のものではないとする論の有力な根拠となっている。それに対し、山頂付近の降水量はこの100年で20％以上の減少を示している
[6]。
キリマンジャロの「キリマ（kilima）」はスワヒリ語で「山」、「ンジャロ（njaro）」は
チャガ語で「白さ」であり、全体として「白く輝く山」を意味するというのが通説だが、実は正確な語源ははっきりしていない。3つの峰の名前もチャガ語に由来するといわれているが、こちらも語源についても諸説挙げられている。また、
マサイ人はこの山をンガジェンガ（神の家）と呼ぶ
[7]。
キリマンジャロは、アフリカ
大地溝帯の中に位置し、東リフト・バレーに属する。
赤道からは350km南に位置し、タンザニアの首都
ダルエスサラームからは500km北西に位置する。キリマンジャロは独立峰であるが、南西70kmの地点に4562mの
メルー山がある。また、南東の方向には標高2463mのパーレ山脈や、それに続くウサンバラ山地があり、
インド洋へと続いている。北麓にはタンザニアとケニアの国境線が走っており、200km北北西にはケニアの首都
ナイロビがある。
山全体が
キリマンジャロ州に属する。キリマンジャロ周辺には適度な雨があり、またキリマンジャロの雪解け水などもあるため、南のタンザニア側にパンガニ川、北のケニア側にツァボ川などが流れ出している。
キリマンジャロは標高が高いため
高山気候となり、標高によって植生が違い、山頂部には氷河が存在する。山麓の標高1000mから1900mまではサバナであり、コーヒーなどのプランテーションや農地が拓かれている。その上、3000mまでは森林地帯であり、降雨量も最も多い。ほぼ3000mで
森林限界となり、ここで樹林帯は途切れて草地やまばらな低木が広がるようになる。4400mで植生の限界となり、これ以上は砂礫や岩石のみが広がる。5500m以上は氷雪地帯であり、氷河が広がる
[8]。
氷河期には氷河の先端は3660m地点にまで達していた
[9]。
1847年、ケニアの東海岸で布教をしていたヨハン・ルートヴィヒ・クラプフ、ヤーコプ・エアハルト、ヨハネス・レブマンの三人の
ドイツ人宣教師は、内陸部に頂上が
銀でおおわれた高い山があることを聞いた。この話に興味を持った3人は内陸部に調査に出かけることにし、3人のうちのレブマンが内陸部へと向かった。
1848年5月11日、レブマンは内陸部のチャガ人の土地で、頂上が白くおおわれた高山を「発見」する
[10]。海岸に戻ったレブマンは
ヨーロッパにこの高山のことを報告したが、頂上が雪に覆われているというレブマンの報告は、熱帯に雪が存在するはずがないというヨーロッパの地理学者の受け入れるところとはならなかった
[11]。
ヨーロッパ人による登頂の試みは、ドイツ人将校カール・クラウス・フォン・デア・デッケンとイギリス人の若い地質学者リチャード・ソーントンによる
1861年のもの
[12]が最初であるが、彼らは8200フィート（2500m）の地点までしか到達できなかった
[13]。1862年には、フォン・デア・デッケンはオットー・ケルステンとともに再度の挑戦を行い、14000フィート（4280m）の地点まで到達した
[14][15]。
ヨーロッパ列強によるアフリカ分割が進んでいくとキリマンジャロは
イギリス植民地領（現在の
ケニア）とドイツ領
タンガニーカの境界線に位置するにようになったが、後に、アフリカ最高峰だと知ったドイツ皇帝
ヴィルヘルム1世は、
イギリスに国境線の変更を要求する。結局、その要求は受け入れられ、
1885年の
ベルリン会議においてこの地域はヴィルヘルム1世の誕生日のプレゼントとしてイギリスからドイツへと割譲された。このため、当初直線だった国境は、キリマンジャロ付近で大きくケニア側に湾曲した線になっており、山麓部分も含めた山体すべてがタンザニア領となっている
[16]。
1887年にはドイツ人地質学者
ハンス・メイヤーが登頂を試み、キボ峰のふもとにまで達したが、キボ峰の雪や氷に対処する装備を持っておらず、引き返すことを余儀なくされた。翌年の1888年、メイヤーは地図製作者のオスカー・バウマンとともに再び登頂を目指したが、タンガニーカ海岸部で勃発したアブシリの乱によって中止を余儀なくされた。二人は反乱軍に捕らえられ、1万ルピーの身代金を支払うまで解放されなかった
[17]。
1889年、メイヤーはオーストリア人の登山家Ludwig Purtschellerとともに3度目の登頂を目指した。この一行は2人の地元首長と9人のポーター、コック、ガイドからなっていた。
モンバサから徒歩ではじめたこの試みは、あらかじめ各地に食糧供給用のキャンプを設置しておいたことからうまくいった。二人は凍った斜面を登った後、10月3日に火口の縁に到達し、10月6日にキボ峰の頂点に到達した。
1900年ごろからは南麓でチャガ人がコーヒー栽培を開始し、
1921年には海岸の
タンガ港から南麓のモシまで鉄道が開通した
[18]。これによってキリマンジャロ地方の開発が進展し、モシはコーヒーの集散地として都市化していった。
1973年に山域の一部、75,575haがキリマンジャロ国立公園に指定され、
1987年にキリマンジャロ山域を含む
キリマンジャロ国立公園が、
世界遺産に登録された

Geology
Kilimanjaro is composed of three distinct volcanic cones: Kibo 5,895 m (19,341 ft); Mawenzi 5,149 m (16,893 ft); and Shira 3,962 m (13,000 ft). Uhuru Peak is the highest summit on Kibo's crater rim.
Kilimanjaro is a large
stratovolcano. Two of its three peaks, Mawenzi and Shira, are extinct while Kibo, its highest peak, is dormant and could erupt again. The last major eruption has been dated to between 150,000 and 200,000 years ago.

Although it is dormant, Kibo has
fumaroles that emit gas in the crater. Several collapses and landslides have occurred on Kibo in the past, one creating the area known as the
Western Breach.
The origin of the name "
Kilimanjaro" is not precisely known, but a number of theories exist. European explorers had adopted the name by 1860 and reported that "Kilimanjaro" was the mountain's
Kiswahili name.

The Nuttall Encyclopædia, the name of the mountain was "Kilima-Njaro".

Johann Ludwig Krapf wrote in 1860 that Swahilis along the coast called the mountain "Kilimanjaro". Although he did not support his claim,
[8] he claimed that "Kilimanjaro" meant either "mountain of greatness" or "mountain of caravans". Under the latter meaning, "Kilima" meant "mountain" and "Jaro" possibly meant "caravans".

The term Kilima-Njaro has generally been understood to mean the Mountain (Kilima) of Greatness (Njaro). This is probably as good a derivation as any other, though not improbably it may mean the "White" mountain, as I believe the term "Njaro" has in former times been used to denote whiteness, and though this application of the word is now obsolete on the coast, it is still heard among some of the interior tribes. Either translation is equally applicable.... By the Wa-chaga[,] the mountain is not known under one name, the two masses which form it being respectively named Kibo and Kimawenzi.[9]
According to a website owned by the
Jet Propulsion Laboratory, "Kilima" is an ancient Kiswahili word for "shining".
[10] Similarly, Krapf wrote that a chief of the
Wakamba people, whom he visited in 1849, "had been to Jagga and had seen the Kima jaJeu, mountain of whiteness, the name given by the Wakamba to Kilimanjaro...."

Kikamba language, this would be Kiima Kyeu, and this possible derivation has been popular with several investigators.

Others have assumed that "Kilima" is Kiswahili for "mountain". The problem with this assumption is that "Kilima" actually means "hill" and is, therefore, the
diminutive of "Mlima", the proper Kiswahili word for mountain. However, "[i]t is ... possible ... that an early European visitor, whose knowledge of [Kiswahili] was not extensive, changed mlima to kilima by analogy with the two Chagga names; Kibo and Kimawenzi."

A different approach is to assume that the "Kileman" part of Kilimanjaro comes from the Kichagga "kileme", which means "which defeats", or "kilelema", which means "which has become difficult or impossible". The "Jaro" part would "then be derived from njaare, a bird, or, according to other informants, a leopard, or, possibly from jyaro a caravan."
According to one [Wachagga] informant, the old men tell the story that long ago the Wachagga, having seen the snowy dome, decided to go up to investigate; naturally, they did not get very far. Hence the name: kilemanjaare, or kilemanyaro, or possibly kilelemanjaare etc.- "which defeats," or which is impossible for, the bird, the leopard, or the caravan. This is attractive as being entirely made up of [Wachagga] elements based on an imaginable situation, but the fact remains that the name Kilimanjaro is not, and apparently never has been, current among the Wachagga as the name of the mountain. Is this then only, as other Wachagga suggest, a latter-day attempt to find a [Wachagga] explanation when pressed to do so by a foreign enquirer? Is it perhaps arguable that the early porters from the coast hearing the Wachagga say kilemanjaare or kilemajyaro, meaning simply that it was impossible to climb the mountain, imagined this to be the name of the mountain, and associated it with their own kilima? Did they then report to the European leaders of the expedition that the name of the mountain was, their version of the Kichagga, which, further assimilated by the European hearer, finally became standardised as Kilimanjaro?[8]
In the 1880s, the mountain became a part of
German East Africa and was called "Kilima-Ndscharo" in
German following the Kiswahili name components.

When on 6 October 1889,
Hans Meyer reached the highest summit on the crater ridge of Kibo, he named it "Kaiser-Wilhelm-Spitze" ("
Kaiser Wilhelm peak").

Tanzania was formed in 1964,
[14] when the summit was renamed "
Uhuru", meaning "Freedom Peak" in Kiswahili.

南米チリで大地震 [2010年02月27日（Sat）]
南米チリにおいてマグニチュード８．８の巨大地震がありました。チリ地震と言えば１９６０年にも巨大地震があり、その津波によって三陸を中心に大きな被害を及ぼしました。まだまだ警戒が必要です。

Ley lines / / are supposed alignments of a number of places of
geographical and historical interest, such as ancient
monuments and
megaliths, natural ridge-tops and water-fords. The phrase was coined in 1921 by the amateur
archaeologist Alfred Watkins, in his books
Early British Trackways and
The Old Straight Track. He sought to identify ancient trackways in the British landscape. Watkins later developed theories that these alignments were created for ease of overland trekking by line-of-sight
navigation during
neolithic times, and had persisted in the landscape over millennia.

In 1969 the writer
John Michell revived the term "ley lines", associating it with spiritual and mystical theories about alignments of land forms, drawing on the Chinese concept of
feng shui. He believed that a mystical network of ley lines existed across Britain.

Since the publication of Michell's book, the spiritualised version of the concept has been adopted by other authors and applied to landscapes in many places around the world. Both versions of the theory have been criticised on the grounds that a random distribution of a sufficient number of points will inevitably create "alignments".

ley line)は、古代の遺跡には直線的に並ぶよう建造されたものがあるという仮説のなかで、その遺跡群が描く直線をさす。レイラインが提唱されているケースには古代イギリスの巨石遺跡群などがある。レイラインの存在は

イギリス人のアマチュア考古学者アルフレッド・ワトキンス(

The Old Straight Track』(古い直線路)によって遺跡の直線的配置性が世間一般の注意を引きつけることとなった。
地図を開けば、遺跡が一列に並んでいるように見える直線を見つけることはそう難しいことではない。にもかかわらず、レイラインの存在を認める動きは学術的には主流とは言えない。その理由としては、レイラインが実在するならば、古代の人々がどうしてそのような直線性を持たせたのかが不明であり、さらには存在するかに見えるその直線性はまったくの偶然にでも発生するのではないかという疑いをぬぐえないためである。こうした事態について解釈を試みる領域はいくつかあり、次のとおりである。
考古学: 考古学の新領域である考古測地学は、
測地学を有史以前のものに適用し
考古学的な知見を得るものである。近代測地学が優位であるのは一面にはその
測量技術がある。
測地学を用いて解析すると、レイラインと呼ばれるものは古代人が
測量し、所有権を主張するために引いたか単に一般的な街道を作ったかしたものであろうと推察される。時代の新古を問わず多くの社会において、重要な地点同士を結ぶまっすぐな線は作られており、
考古学者はこうした伝統があることを指摘している。近代的な
測量により、地形においてもこうした直線性があることも確認されている。人の建造物と活動拠点の並びが、人が直線というものを利用していたということを反映しているのは妥当だといえる。
文明論: 多くの文化において、特徴的な地形を横切る直線というものは発見できる。南米では山頂を結ぶ直線がしばしば見受けられる。
ナスカの地上絵は古代の長大な直線を語る上で有名な例だといえる。このまっすぐな道というのは今日では
メキシコの
テオティワカンにある遺跡にも存在する。古代の道の上に作られた近代の道は二つの巨大な
ピラミッドの間を今は通っていないが。
ニューメキシコ州北西の
チャコ文明(
Chaco Culture)においては、道をまっすぐに作るために砂岩絶壁を階段状に切り開いている。
ニューエイジ: レイラインやレイライン同士の交点は、
風水・
ダウジング・
UFOのようなものを含む神秘的、超自然的なエネルギーに共鳴する地点だと考える人々がいる。およそ、UFOはレイラインに沿って航行する（車が道路を利用するように）、という風に。こうした主張はレイラインが
電磁気的なエネルギーを有しているという想像の元に仮定されている。
懐疑派: レイラインの存在に懐疑的な者は往々にしてレイラインを
疑似科学に分類する。彼らは
古代文明がレイラインというものを意図的に作ったという説に懐疑的であり、レイラインなるものは
超科学や
疑似科学を必要とすることなしに説明できるだろうと考えている。

Ley lines are alleged alignments of a number of places of geographical interest, such as ancient monuments and megaliths that are thought by certain adherents to dowsing and New Age beliefs to have spiritual power. Their existence was suggested in 1921 by the amateur archaeologist Alfred Watkins, in his book The Old Straight Track. The believers in ley lines think that the lines and their intersection points resonate a special psychic or mystical energy.
"The Ancients" knew much more than given credit for regarding Life, The Universe, Astronomy, Advanced Mathematics, Magnetism, Healing, Unseen Forces etc.
Encoded knowledge is information that is conveyed in signs and symbols and we can find this knowledge all over the world. All these ancient sightings and geometric patterns (Sacred Geometry) symbolise unseen forces at work. We are being lied to by the media. Modern archaeologists don't know what they're talking about. "The Ancients" were not stupid or primitive. We just failed to de-code this knowledge conveyed in signs, symbols and ancient artwork. This kind of information is kept hidden from the public.
Scientists dont know what holds the universe together, the answer is sound and unseen forces. Matter is governed by sound frequencies. There is much more to life than we can perceive with our 5 senses. The question then becomes "who or what governs unseen forces?" What is behind the symmetry throughout nature? (Golden Ratio, Phi, Fibonacci Sequence etc.) It simply cant be just coincidence, in my opinion there is an intelligent mind / consciousness behind all this that keeps it all together.
The pyramids are proof, that a more advanced civilization once existed on earth. And i know how crazy it is to claim that our history books are lying and not telling the truth, yet all the evidence points to this conclusion, im just wondering how even Michael Jackson was aware of all that. He tried to warn us, but most of us failed to listen, like always.
